General presentation

International Hotel is situated in Sinaia, which is almost in the middle of the country, on the valley of the Prahova river, within about 120 km far from Bucharest and 45 km from Brasov. The town is situated at an altitude of 800 m, on the south-eastern side of the Bucegi Massif. Protected against the winds, the area has a pleasant climate, neither very hot in summer, nor very cold in winter. The beauty of the landscape, the freshness of the summer, and the richness of snow in winter (with layers of up to one meter thick) made Sinaia become the most important of the mountain resorts in Romania, also called the Carpathians’ Pearl. The International Hotel is located in the middle of these picturesque surroundings.
